The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle angle signal stuck on it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean or pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ will delay your vw fault.
