13318 Description And Summary : |

When you open evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high or ecm/pcm power input, signal is the final reason of the code. |
13318 Possible Causes:
13318 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 13318 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
