When you open cylinder 11 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded or intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
13318 Possible Causes:
13318 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13318 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump timing offset
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
