13290 Description And Summary : |

When you open exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected or relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
13290 Possible Causes:
13290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 13290 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
