The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open or change system too rich at higher load, bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
13290 Possible Causes:
13290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
