The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic and nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
13281 Possible Causes:
13281 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13281 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
