13280 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit will delay your vw fault.

13280 Possible Causes:

13280 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 13280 Code

  • Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
