13278 Possible Causes:
13278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13278 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
