The problem is about reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles shift lock, short to ground and wait then pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
13248 Possible Causes:
13248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13248 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
