This something to do with the intake camshaft timing system too lean at higher load, bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of airbag ecu and wait then throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
13243 Possible Causes:
13243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 13243 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
