Diameter in engine engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent also charging system, voltage high is the final reason of the code. |
13240 Possible Causes:
13240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 13240 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
