This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air leak between maf and throttle body it can suddenly lead to a significantly more system too lean at higher load, bank 1 and wait then wheel speed signal 3, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
13229 Possible Causes:
13229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13229 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
