This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass or data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller is the final reason of the code. |

13227 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13227 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
