13217 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation you can see the starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) is the final reason of the code. |
13217 Possible Causes:
13217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13217 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
