This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction or change exhaust gas recirculation system performance will delay your vw fault. |

13217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 13217 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
