This code were stamped on VW Engine case control module defective run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance or change exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
13198 Possible Causes:
13198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 13198 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
