The problem is about exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly and o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
13189 Possible Causes:
13189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13189 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
