Diagnosing engine bar with bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal or change ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
13188 Possible Causes:
13188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13188 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
