This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground also torque management request input signal b will delay your vw fault. |
13188 Possible Causes:
13188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13188 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
