The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, implausible message of the a/c control module the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low or ignition switch accessory position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
13179 Possible Causes:
13179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13179 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (3040), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
