13173 Possible Causes:
13173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 13173 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
