Accumulated in electronic control units so mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit and engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
13171 Possible Causes:
13171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13171 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
