13169 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction or change engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
13169 Possible Causes:
13169 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13169 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
