Accumulated in electronic control units so engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction or secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
13166 Possible Causes:
13166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13166 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
