This something to do with the intake camshaft timing particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus also throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
13161 Possible Causes:
13161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13161 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
