Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ecm/pcm power input, signal and wait then throttle position output, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
13160 Possible Causes:
13160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13160 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
