This code were stamped on VW Engine case control unit programming communication error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics or change throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation is the final reason of the code. |
13140 Possible Causes:
13140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13140 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
