13120 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation or change fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ is the final reason of the code.

13120 Possible Causes:

13120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 13120 Code

  • Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
