When you open secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle angle signal stuck off and fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
13118 Possible Causes:
13118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 13118 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
