Accumulated in electronic control units so accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low you can see the engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
13118 Possible Causes:
13118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 13118 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
