13103 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1 or relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code.

13103 Possible Causes:

13103 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 13103 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
