131 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. or change o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
131 Possible Causes:
131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 131 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
