131 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller you can see the reversing light, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
131 Possible Causes:
131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 131 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
