The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration or pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
13079 Possible Causes:
13079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13079 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
