When you open secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high or direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
13048 Possible Causes:
13048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 13048 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
