The problem is about exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit you can see the supply voltage for fuel injector group a, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
13046 Possible Causes:
13046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 13046 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
