13044 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) or bank 1, system too rich off idle will delay your vw fault.

13044 Possible Causes:

13044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 13044 Code

  • Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
