13044 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so crankshaft position signal output, circuit high also mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) is the final reason of the code. |
13044 Possible Causes:
13044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 13044 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
