13028 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module defective retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel supply heater, control circuit / open or change intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
13028 Possible Causes:
13028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13028 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
