13026 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault activation starter relay 2, short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground or fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open is the final reason of the code.

13026 Possible Causes:

13026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 13026 Code

  • Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
