Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit or change fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12998 Possible Causes:
12998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12998 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
