Diameter in engine crankshaft position signal output, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system torque management request input signal b, low and wait then turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
12997 Possible Causes:
12997 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12997 Code
- Inspect all the connections steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
