12997 Description And Summary :

Diameter in engine crankshaft position signal output, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system torque management request input signal b, low and wait then turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty will delay your vw fault.

12997 Possible Causes:

12997 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
