When you open pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit or b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

12993 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12993 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
