12992 Possible Causes:
12992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 12992 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
