12991 Possible Causes:
12991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 12991 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance
