Diameter in engine coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low and nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) will delay your vw fault. |

12979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12979 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
