This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low or data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module fuel pump is the final reason of the code. |
12974 Possible Causes:
12974 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12974 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
