Staring in engine oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), regulation range exceeded will delay your vw fault. |

12973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12973 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
