12960 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine injector control pressure sensor, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal and wait then actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12960 Possible Causes:
12960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 12960 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
