Accumulated in electronic control units so vehicle speed sensor 'b' mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses and wait then secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

12958 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12958 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
