Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission faulty causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12956 Possible Causes:
12956 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12956 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
