This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of transmission ecu and exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
12948 Possible Causes:
12948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12948 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
