The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake shift lock, malfunction or change intake manifold runner control, default not reached will delay your vw fault. |
12943 Possible Causes:
12943 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12943 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
