The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake air heater "a", circuit open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground and bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible is the final reason of the code. |

What To Check After Fixing 12942 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
