Diameter in engine turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage and direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |

12940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12940 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
