This code were stamped on VW Engine case injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of instrument cluster . So for next throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12918 Possible Causes:
12918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12918 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
