This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit also bank 2, system too rich off idle will delay your vw fault. |

12916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12916 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
