Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low or secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12916 Possible Causes:
12916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12916 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
